JRockit Download From Aunt Bea

For the record, the link below is broken. See comments for updated links.

Now that Oracle owns BEA their website is much crappier. All the links are broken. The download page doesn't even have a link to JRockit (Their JVM. Why do they have their own implementation? Why do I use it? Things are so far gone I can't even remember how I got to this point.) I had to call and request a download link to get the damn thing. I asked their customer support if they field many of these calls. His answer was "Yes." in a how-did-you-know tone. Sheesh. I know because I have used your website. It is awful. Now, since I went through all that trouble, I thought I would post the link here in case there are any other poor fools searching for the link.

Enjoy?

Are you sure it wasn't a temporal link? It doesn't load anymore.

I downloaded a couple of weeks ago the JVM for my development laptop, but I need to find the 64bit version for the server. I thought I was going mad when I could no longer locate the link.

All JRockit JVMs are still downloadable, there are just no links on the website
For example you can use the following direct links to download Linux x64 version:

http://download2.bea.com/pub/jrockit/50/jrockit-R27.5.0-jdk1.5.0_14-linux-x64.bin

http://download2.bea.com/pub/jrockit/60/jrockit-R27.5.0-jdk1.6.0_03-linux-x64.bin

btw, if you don't need the whole JDK package and just want to download JRE, replace the "jdk" with "jre" in the links posted above

have a nice day ;-)

thanks for the links: you rock :-)

unfortunately if Oracle is gonna drop support for this JDK we'll all have to migrate to SUN

haha what a bunch of morons over at BEA, spent quite some time trying to find those links :P

These links used to work, but Oracle (Bea) has pulled them down. Guess I'll have to switch to Sun since Oracle doesn't let you use the latest jRockit for free anymore (other than developer machines/environments).

So the links are dead? It is a little weird that oracle owns sun now because they have 2 implementations of the JVM to support now. I wonder if jrockit will go away?
